Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Beaver Creek Conservation Area

Courtesy: Tourism Saskatoon

Located 13 km south of Saskatoon, the Beaver Creek Conservation Area is a section of the Meewasin Trail that’s a great option for trail running. There are four nature trails, winding through native grasslands, forest, sand dunes, the South Saskatchewan River and its tributary Brightwater Creek. The longest trail is the Living Sky Trail, an easy 3.2 km loop. The other trails are interconnecting. The River View Trail is 0.9 miles and goes down to the South Saskatchewan River. Note: in right conditions, priority is given to XC skiers.

We haven’t been able to find an online map of the trail system, but there are maps and resources at the park.
