For a pretty run through an old growth forest close to town, we recommend Beckett Woods (Bois Beckett). Located just northwest of downtown Sherbrooke, the 70-acre area features 6.1 km of trails through an old maple grove and beech forest, which is also home to clumps of hemlock and 30 other tree species. This is easy trail running — the paths are wide with a good surface. There are several well-marked loop options.
