The Village Trail is one of the easier trail runs incorporating Telluride’s ski trails. Starting from the Mountain Village, the 3.5 mile trail crosses several ski runs, with great views to the west while traversing through aspen and spruce-dominated drainages, ending at the Station St. Sophia Gondola terminal. The trail’s 1,227 feet of elevation gain is fairly gradual, with wide switchbacks and a relatively smooth surface. Runners have the option to return to Mountain Village or Telluride on the gondola.
