Wilson Forest Park & Kraví hora

Wilson Forest-Park. Martin Strachoň / Wikimedia Commons

For those who’d like to get in some hill running, head to the Wilson Forest Park in the northwestern part of Brno. This park has a pleasant network of winding forest paths, with some great city views. We’ve mapped a 5.4 km route combining this park with the nearby Kraví hora Park.

Start at the north end of Wilson Forest Park, next to the Heritage Museum. A loop of this park is ~3 km, with additional path options. Very hilly! There’s a nice running track next to the Vyhlídka school. To connect to Kraví hora Park, exit the eastern end onto Krondlova and run for 0.3 km. A loop of Kraví hora, on scenic hill paths & fields, is ~1 km

Longer Run: Can connect to/combine this with our central Brno route that includes Špilberk Castle, using the 1.4 km Kraví hora connector path.Kraví hora Park
