Goose Creek is a suburb located north of Charleston that features a large network of multi-use paths, particularly around the Crowfield Plantation housing development. There are miles of paved paths around these pleasant residential streets, plus some gentle trail running in Wannamaker North County Park. Our thanks to Kiran Mital for suggesting these routes!

A few options:

Hamlet Circle Loop: Follow the path alongside this road for a 4-mile loop. ROUTE MAP

Westview Blvd. Loop: 3.6 mile loop on path paralleling Westview Blvd. & Crowfield Blvd. Can combine with Hamlet Circle loop for ~10-miler, using Crowfield Blvd. for 1.3 mils to connect the two. ROUTE MAP

Wannamaker North County Park. There are 15 miles of mainly wooded trails in this country park. Combination of paved and gravel/dirt. A good variety of difficultly options here. The Red Loop is a solid 8-miler. The Yellow Loop is an easy run, while the 5-mile Orange Loop is more technical, with some rugged, hilly sections involving tougher footing. There’s an entrance with a mask kiosk at 455 Westview Blvd. The main entrance is at 888 University Blvd. in North Charleston.  TRAIL MAP
