For a worth-it destination run, drive 1/2 hour north of Odense to run along the Baltic Sea in the Hasmark/Enebærodde area. Start in Hasmark Strand, a Danish beach town full of nice Baltic-view bungalows. Head east on the paved beach road for up to 9.5 km. It’s a quiet road. At the 4 km, there’s a parking lot and the path continues east, turning to gravel, out to the point of land at the fjord entrance, Enebærode. This is a beautiful spot, with water to both sides, cows bathing in the Baltic waves, heather and pine woods, then the lighthouse (Enebærodde Fyr) out at the point. NOTE: Beach itself is not great for running.

Shorter Option: Overall, the route is 9.5 km one-way. A shorter option would be to park at the Enebærodde Parking Lot, which is at the 4 km mark of our mapped route. From there, run for up to 5 km east to the lighthouse.

A lovely 'runseeing' tour of Odense with some nice variety: the historic center -- and all things H.C. Andersen -- then, sections of the Odense River Paths, Munke Mose Park, & Ansgar Anlæg Park.
One of our favorite runs in Odense is to combine Munke Mose Park with paths headed south along the Odense River. It's up to 4.5 km one-way, and is basically one large green space. Good add-on options.
This route explores the paths along the Odense River headed east for ~5 km to Åsum. As an alternative to an out and back, we've created a grand, ~14 km loop around outer Odense, nearly all off-road. Also Munkedammen Park add-on.
Among the most scenic runs in the Odense area. You can run north of the city along the river up to the Odense Fjord, on an off-road path featuring uninterrupted water views for 10+ km. Great Views!
Nice running in the area of the SDU campus, 5 km south of Odense centre. Pedestrian paths around modern buildings, one of the world's most unique running tracks, and scenic paths around adjacent parks and fields.
An enjoyable 7.5 km loop connecting several parks in western Odense: Havneskoven Park, Åløkke Skov & Snapind Skov, and a nice running track at Odense Atletikstadion, next to Bolbro Parken.
