Busiek State Forest is a 2700-acre conservation area located 30 miles south of Springfield. It’s a recreation area that features 18 miles of trails that are good for trail running. The trails are mainly wooded and feature rolling hills. Some trails are wide and others narrower. Surface is mainly dirt or gravel, with some rocks.
