In the area between the former border of East & West Berlin, this is a nice run combining two parks: Volkspark Humboldthain & Mauerpark. There are pleasant paths around both parks, and, in Mauerpark, two running tracks! Our mapped route features both parks and the connecting streets.
Volkspark Humboldthain
Volkspark Humboldthain is a pleasant park located in the Wedding district. There are lawns, paths with lovely mature trees, a rose garden, and an outdoor pool. The flak towers bear witness to the site’s role in World War II. A loop of the park’s perimeter is ~2 km. Connect to Mauerpark using Lortzingstraße.
Mauerpark is located 1 km easy of Volkspark Humboldthain. The park, set on the site of the former border between East & West Berlin, features paths with grassland & trees, and interesting wall art. There are long, wide paved paths that run for nearly 1 km north-south along a narrow strip at the east end of the park. There’s a running track at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark and a more public track at Cantianstadion in the northwest end of the park.

A pleasant run in east Berlin, taking in the trails along the Landwehr Canal. It's an easy 10k out & back, including a loop Gorlitzer Park. Nice water views. Good add-ons for a longer run.
Enjoy a run in Berlin's oldest park, centrally located between the Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain district. Nice network of landscaped paths around numerous monuments, sculptures and works of art. Add w/neighborhood & other nearby parks.
A fascinating run in a park dedicated to the Wall memorial, 1.4 km paralleling Bernauer Strasse. Information posts along the way. Includes jaunt into Park am Norbahnhof.
A new addition to the running scene in Berlin! Former airport is now a large park, with a 6 km multi-use trail, large fields, and one of the world's largest buildings available for public use. Add on with the adjacent Hasenheide Park.
Inspirational run on the well-preserved grounds of the 1936 Summer Games. There's the stadium and other fields and recreational facilities. Adjacent Mahnmal Ehemalige (Memorial Park) adds ~3 km of nice paths.
