This is a section of the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt in Phoenix. It’s a paved multi-use trail that runs for 4.5 miles from N 54th just south of E Shea Blvd. near the border w/Scotsdale, northwest to Venturoso Park (N 32nd & Thunderbird). Most of the trail is through a linear park type space. Bonus: Most of the trail is lit at night!
The first 2 miles are lovely, alongside a golf course between Shea Blvd. & E Cactus Rd. There’s another nice section for 1.3 miles from E Sweewater Ave., passing through Phoenix Indian Bend Wash Park to Venturoso Park.
The other section of the Indian Bend Wash trail picks up ~5 miles southeast near McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale. This path runs for for up to 13.5 miles from E Cactus Blvd. south to Tempe!
