Run to Highland Park, TV Tower

For some hills, views, and some of Baku’s impressive sites, this to Highland Park and the TV Tower is for you! The route starts at the bottom of the funicular, with a 1 km, 60m climb to the Baku Viewpoint. Great views of the city and sea! Continue into the hilltop Highland Park, a wide open plaza with good views of the city, and just ahead, the Flame Towers and Parliament Building.

The next section is the ~1.5 km, 60m climb to the TV Tower. At the the busy rotary, carefully cross onto Izzat Nabiyev, then left on Abbasgulu Abbaszadeh, to take the road/path to the TV Tower. There are some additional dirt trails around there.

Funicular Alternative: The funicular is an alternative to the 80m climb to Highland Park.

Add-Ons: There are additional paths and also residential streets in the area of the TV Tower and east of Badamdar Shosesi St.
