Gwangalli Beach

Gwangalli Beach is among the most scenic beaches in Busan, and combined with adjacent multi-use trails, makes for a terrific run. The crescent-shaped beach itself is 1.4 km long and features fine grained sand. It’s possible to run on the beach, or on the dedicated concrete path right alongside the beach. Great water, skyline, and mountain views!. One can continue south of the beach for another 2.5 km along a waterside walkway (there are a couple of busy, less attractive sections). This connects to the Igidae Coastal Walk, which is lovely but more challenging (see our route there)

Essentials
  • Total is 4 km (2.5 miles) one-way. Beach is 1.4 km of that; Can also connect to Coastal Walk.
  • Flat
  • At beach
  • Train: Geumnyeonsan
