The area around Haizhu Lake and the Guangdong Haizhu National Wetland Park is one of the greenest parts of Guangzhou. The area is located in the southeast section of the Haizhu District. There are paths and walkways along a small river, a lake, and a large wetland area. One of the main features of the wetland is a 10,000-acre orchard (Longtan Fruit Tree Park), which when in bloom is especially beautiful.
A run around the perimeter of the lake is 3 km. Then, create your own route around the orchard and wetlands along the paths, boardwalks, and some small bridges.
