The path along the Odiel River in Huelva (Paseo de la ría) is one of the prettiest off-road runs in Andalusia.

A red-colored multi-use path runs from the rotary near the Aqualon shopping mall, south for 3.7 km to the end of the Paseo Fluvial Ria Del Odiel (Park), near the Los Gabrielles docks. There are great views of the Odiel River and the surrounding marshlands the whole way, and a couple of lovely, green parks. One highlight is a jaunt out onto the Rio Tinto pier. The full out and back is 7.5 km. Note: this route is especially pretty at sunset.
Longer Run: You can combine this with our routes in the Marismas del Odiel (marshes/salt factory). From the rotary, it’s 3.1 km to the Aljaraque River bridge, where you can connect to the dike route, bike path, and numerous trails. (see our routes there).
