Bradford Creek Greenway

Mill Creek Greenway. Google Street View

In Madison, the best bet for an off-road run is the Bradford Creek Greenway. The paved multi-use path runs for 2.4 miles from Palmer Park north to the Heritage Elementary School. The terrain is a combination of farms, woods, and some suburban residential. There are parking areas/trailheads at Palmer Park, Mill Rd., and at the Heritage Elementary School. You can also enjoy a jaunt around the large fields at Palmer Park.

Longer Run: Connect to the Mill Creek Greenway using Mill Rd. It’s 0.5 miles east along Mill Rd. (good sidewalk), and then 0.5 miles along the Greenway to Browns Ferry Rd., so this adds 2 miles out and back!

Essentials
  • 2.4 miles one-way; Mill Creek Greenway add-on is 2 miles out and back
  • Flat
  • Palmer Park, Mill Rd., or Heritage Elementary School.
  • Parking is available at trail heads located at Palmer Park, Mill Rd., and at the Heritage Elementary School.
