Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area

Creative Commons

The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is a good spot for some trail running right in Kingston. It’s located 7 km north of downtown, just across from the 401 Freeway. It’s a popular recreation area, used for nordic skiing in winter. There are 14 km of trails through a combination of marsh, field, and forest habitat. The trails are generally gravel and there are a couple of boardwalks over scenic marshy areas. There’s an Outdoor Centre with parking, restrooms, and information about the trails.
