Middleton Park

Creative Commons: Stephen Craven

Middleton Park is a 470-acre green space in the southern part of Leeds that’s a terrific spot for a gentle trail run. There are numerous paths across fields and meadows, through woods, and around a small lake. There isn’t a specific route for this park, but one could put together 3-4 miles, including an 0.5 mile path north of the park to a rugby field. At the northeast end of the park, there’s a running track at South Leeds Stadium.

There are numerous recreation facilities and a visitor centre with toilets.
