Beaches: Great beach running on Nantasket Beach, Duxbury Beach, and Horseneck Beach.
Shore Drives/Waterfront Running: Great waterside running in Quincy along Quincy Shore Drive, and along coastal roads in Hull, Cohasset, Scituate, and New Bedford.
Trail Running: Huge network of trails in Blue Hills Reservation just south of Boston, and miles of trails for running in Myles Standish State Forest in Carver.
Multi-Use Paths: Boardwalk along Nantasket Beach; Paved trails in Myles Standish State Forest; Bike Path along Horseneck Beach; Phoenix Rail Trail between New Bedford and Mattapoisett.
