Priyadarshini Park, South Mumbai

A 20 acre park and sports complex in South Mumbai, facing the sea. On Napeansea Rd in the Malabar Hill area, which is lined with some of Mumbai’s more expensive apartment buildings and  one of the most expensive houses in the world, Maheshwari House.

The park is one of the better spots in the area for running, featuring a 400-meter Olympic standard synthetic running track, a 500-meter dirt track (walking path) lined with 300 coconut trees, and an artificial beach by the sea. One can’t do a long run here, but it’s a good spot to get in some laps and intervals, away from the congestion.

The park is also a sports complex, with tennis courts and other facilities. This is a more affluent area of Mumbai, with several temples nearby.

Note: Open 5am-9pm. Free entry.
