Just a ten minute drive west of Saint John, Irving Nature Park highlights the beautiful marshes and 11 km of Bay of Fundy coastline. Running routes are plentiful throughout the park, whether you prefer scenic coastal roadways or forested inland trails. One of the best runs in Irving Nature Park starts from Sand Cove Road, then circles the gravel Irving Park Nature Road for a loop of 9 km. Add on the Irving Park Nature Boardwalk for an additional ~1 km, or shorten the route by using the cutoff near the BBQ area. For trail running, some of the best options are the Sheldon Park Trail, the Children’s Forest Loop, and the Heron Trail, which winds around Seely Point.
