A run along the Busan Green Railway Trail is a recent and wonderful addition to the Busan running scene. A paved boardwalk path runs alongside a rail line for 4.2 km between Blueline Park – Mipo Station in Haeundae and Songjeong Beach. There are some great views of the water, beach, and the Busan skyline. A bonus for runners: no cycles permitted! There are maps and distance markers along the way. PRO TIP: Gorgeous cherry blossoms along Haeundae Dalmajigil Road, in season! PATH INFORMATION
Longer Run: A wide paved path along Haeundae Beach runs for 1.5 km. You can also take a loop around Dongbaekseom Island, just south of Haeundae Beach. It’s ~1 km around the paths. At Songjeong Beach, there’s a decent sidewalk alongside the beach. Both Haeundae Beach & Songjeong Beach are runnable, though sand tends to be soft.
Our thanks to Joylin Nodwell for this update!
