Start in Luitpoldhain, a lovely park surrounding the Meistersingerhalle concert hall. Head south on the paths, crossing the major road into the Hundewiese, another park with several paths around a couple of small lakes. Continue into Volkspark Dutzendteich, which includes paths around the small Silbersee (lake) and a short climb to a nice viewpoint. Exit the eastern end of Volkspark into the Volksfestplatz area. This huge, open area has historical significance as the former Nazi Party rally/meeting grounds, showcased by the unfinished Kongresshalle — now the location of concert halls & entertainment venues. There are paths around the Großer Dutzendteich lake, with access to two running tracks in the fields south of the lake near the Max-Morlock-Stadion. There’s another running track, FAU Track Nürnberg, just across the street from the Meistersingerhalle.

Add-Ons: Additional paths in the parks, three running tracks, athletic fields!
