This is a pleasant 5 km route through a couple of parks and on a path along a section of Lake Lides, in southern Tampere. It’s in the Viinikka & Nekela Districts. Can be combined with our East Tampere route.
Start with a loop around the small Lampipuisto park. Then, head west on the Viinikka Park path for 0.6 km to Pahalammen Park. Run the 0.6 km dirt path around a small lake. Retrace your steps. continuing onto the path along Lake Lides (Iidesjärven polku). This dedicated path goes for 1 km. Option to continue further on the cycle path alongside the Lidesranta road. Retrace your steps back to Lampipuisto Park.
Add-On: Combine with our East Tampere route, 1 km to the north. Use Viinikankatu (not scenic, but there’s a sidewalk).
