Pedion Areos

The Pedion tou Areos or Pedion Areos is one of the largest public parks in Athens, Greece. It is also the name of the wider neighbourhood. The park offers a variety of routes, mostly on concrete or stone paved paths, with some dirt paths as well, especially in the inner part of the park. At the eastern end of the park is the Ekklisia Agios Charalampos, or Greek Orthodox Church. One can put together 2-3 miles of running incorporating all of the park’s paths.

Essentials
  • 2-3 miles in the park. Other good add-on options nearby.
  • Park entrance off Leof. Alexandras, across from Victoria metro station
  • Victoria is nearest metro station
