Tafelberg Road offers one of the best options for a run in the Table Mountain area without doing a serious climb or trail run. Just past the cable car entrance, the road is car free and fairly flat (for Table Mountain). The full road is 6.3 km one-way, starting at Kloof Rd. & Signal Hill Rd., with the first 1.5 km being a fairly steep climb. Then the road flattens out. A good option, to save the hill and run mainly car free, is to park near the cable car station. Only rolling hills from there. Fantastic views!
