Hakusan, which neighbors Kanazawa, is the second largest city in the Ishikawa Prefecture. There’s a nice seaside run there, on a dedicated waterfront path that runs for 10 km from just north of Matto Seaside Park, south to the Roots of Ishikawa Museum in Mikawa. It’s a concrete path along a beach, paralleling the E8 highway most of the way. There are good views of the beach and the Sea of Japan a good part of the way.
Note: The path passes along several beaches — it’s widest near Matto Seaside Park. The beach has fairly soft sand, but can be runnable near the water.
Add-Ons: There are nice paths in Matto Seaside Park. A loop is ~2 km. Also some additional paths in Hirakarinkai Park.
