Okuutatsuyama Kenmin Park

Google Street View

In the Wakamatsumachi area in north Kanazawa, Okuutatsuyama Kenmin Park makes for a nice destination run. The park is built on the site of a former golf course. There are some nice views of the surrounding hills, Kanazawa city, and the Sea of Japan.

For running, there are 3-4 km of trails in the park. The section of the park near the parking areas is more open, with some wide, paved paths. The path headed southeast toward the Hammock Area & tennis courts is more wooded.

Essentials
  • Some hills
  • Parking area
  • Parking at northeast end of the park, near Tombo Terrace
