This is a nice run in the waterfront section of Kanazawa, combining a seafront promenade with some interior park paths. A concrete path runs along the waterfront/beach for 5 km from Kenmin Seaside Park south to the Kurabe River. There are views to the beach and Sea of Japan on one side, and sand dunes on the other. Kenmin Seaside Park itself is a waterfront amusement park and not great for running, but just south of the athletic field/parking lot, the park continues as a narrow strip of green, with interior paths. So it’s fun to do a loop combining the waterfront & park paths.
Longer Run: Matto Seaside Park is just south of the Kurabe River, and the seafront path continues in Hakusan for another 10 km! ROUTE
