Here’s a fun run to have in Lexington: mix a trail run and a craft brew! West Sixth Farm is a farm/brewery that also operates a ~4 mile trail system popular for trail running and mountain biking. The farm is situated in gorgeous countryside in Frankfort, 30 miles northwest of Lexington. West Sixth Farm supplies many of the area’s bars and restaurants with its signature beers, and runs its own taproom in Lexington.
See this trail map for suggested loops of various levels of ability. And afterward, enjoy a delicious craft brew and local food. WNote: the brewery itself has specific hours, but the trails are free and open year-round.
