Aurélie Vilmer
Features:
In the Santa Rosa Beach/Grayton Beach area, the 15,000-acre Point Washington State Forest offers 27 miles of trails through a pine forest. The most popular trails for running are the Eastern Lake Bike/Hike Trails, which feature marked loops of 3.5, 6, and 10 miles on the Yellow, Red, and Orange trails. This route from Aurélie Vilmer is a 10k, combining the Yellow and Red trails. The trails are reasonably wide and are a compact sand surface. The terrain is mainly wooded — no real lake to run around though, despite the name. Fairly shaded — a good option on a hot day!
