Features:
Located near Elgin Air Force Base in the Destin area, the Timberlake Trail system offers several miles of trails that make for some easy to moderate trail running. These are narrow and scenic dirt paths, mainly through wooded terrain. There are some sections of tricky footing. It’s also an opportunity to get in some elevation! Note: that these trails are also popular with mountain bikers!
Great Runs friend Aurélie Vilmer has submitted a 5k loop on the ‘blue trail’, and an 11k loop.
