Bold Park & Reabold Hill

weekendnotes.com

Bold Park is a nature reserve 8 km west of Perth that’s a popular spot for walking and running. The 437-hectare park consists of beautiful bushland trails featuring views of the city with the backdrop of the Indian Ocean. The trails are generally hilly but are a smooth surface.

A highlight is The Zamia Trail, which provides a more challenging 3-mile (4.8 km) loop around Reabold Hill, rising to 85m above sea level. The trail is undulating and mostly compacted limestone. Although well way-marked, it’s helpful to have a map as there are numerous other trail options.

Essentials
  • Zamia Trail is a 3 mile (4.8 km) loop
  • 200 feet (61m)
  • The Reabold Hill carpark
  • 20 minute drive from the city
