This is a nice run in the Jongno District in northern Seoul, combining the small, hilly Naksan Park with a path along the city walls, and a road passing by several murals. This can be run standalone or combined with our Changdeokgung route.

Naksan is a hilly park with exercise paths and a couple of terrific scenic views of the city. Run the park’s paths & stairs, and then head south for a brief section along Nakanseongwak road, continue onto the pedestrian path leading to the Seoul City Wall Museum. This is a ~1.6 section, and fairly hilly. To see the murals, see this route by Lena Andersson — there’s a road/path that passes by several city murals, headed west from Naksan toward Changdeokgung. Add more with our route in Changdeokgung Secret Garden.
