Salem Creek Greenway

Google Street View

The Salem Creek Greenway is the best bet for a centrally located off-road run in Winston-Salem. The paved multi-use path runs for 4.5 miles between Washington Park and Salem Lake. Choose any section you like! The best access point downtown near the Old Salem Visitor Center. From there, you can run for 1.5 miles south, through Washington Park to Hamrick’s clothing store. Or, head north, through Central Park, the recreational fields of Winston Salem State University (bonus: running track!), and Reynolds Park, ending at the Salem Lake Marina.

Add-Ons: The Salem Creek Greenway is also the gravel path that loops around Salem Lake for 7 miles. Downtown, connect to our Old Salem Tour, or the 1.8-mile Waughtown Greenway.
