A fun, centrally located, and popular run in Chattanooga features three bridges crossing the Tennessee River. The route starts on the north side of the river with a loop around the riverfront Coolidge & Renaissance parks. Then, cross the Walnut St. pedestrian bridge. Enjoy a nice downtown section, using 1st St. to briefly to the Market St. Bridge. Cross back over, and run along fun Frazier St. for 0.6 miles to Veteran’s Bridge. Cross the bridge, and use the stairs to access the Bluff View art district. Return via the Walnut St. bridge.
Add-Ons: For a longer run, combine with our Tennessee Riverwalk route — the path is on the south side of the river and goes for several miles in each direction.
Essentials
- 4.4 miles (7 km)
- 274 feet (83m)
