Run at the scenic spot where some of the most recent Star Wars movies were filmed! Mizen Head is Ireland’s most southern point, and one of the most spectacular headlands on Ireland’s Atlantic Coast. There’s 1-2 miles of well-developed paths that are suitable for running. You can also explore some more rugged paths on the headland.
It’s also possible to run Corran Beg Rd., the road approaching Mizen Head from Barleycove. It’s narrow and there is no shoulder, but pedestrians do walk on this road. It’s ~2.5 miles from Barleycove.
