Ab-o Atash Park/Taleghani Park

Abo-Atash means “Water and Fire” in Persian, and this park delivers with both cooling water fountains and choreographed fire displays. The park is centrally located in District 3. Most visitors will enjoy sitting down and taking in the entertainment, but runners will undoubtedly be lured in by the park’s crushed stone pathways and numerous bridges. The Abrisham Bridge leads south into Nowrooz Park, while the Tabiat and Abo-Atash Bridges both lead east into Talegheni Forest Park. We’ve mapped a 4.25 km “Three Bridges” route that loops around the perimeter of each park. It ends at the cluster of bars and restaurants near The Lighthouse, so you can end your workout with a refreshing treat!

Note: There are also strength training stations in the southeast corner of Nowrooz Park.
