Located between the Shahrake Shariti Subway Station and Bahman Square, the Velayat Great Park is built on the former grounds of the Ghalemorghi military airport. While the old runways still criss-cross the park, the rest of the grounds are manicured with stone walkways, gardens, and a paved running track circling the perimeter. A clockwise loop from the Zam Zam Metro Station is 5.5 km, but there are plenty of other tracks to branch out and enjoy.
