Javanmardan Park

This linear park in District 22 along the Kan Creek is favored by cyclists for its long paved lanes, but runners can also enjoy a good out and back or loop along the banks. You can choose from either the paved lanes or adjacent stone walkways, crossing over at any of the three bridges in the park. On the west bank, it’s possible to run a ~5 km out and back from Allameh Jafari Parkway to Sahel Park. Alternatively, there is a 2.7 km loop using the bridges on opposite ends of the park. Whichever route you choose, keep in mind this park is more exposed to the sun than some of our other routes, so plan accordingly. Bonus: There are lights along the walking and cycling lanes for night running.
