One of our favorite runs in Wiesbaden is combining three adjacent parks: Warmer Dam, Kurkpark, Kuranlagen, A loop around these parks, on a combination of paved & gravel paths, is ~7 km. Kurkpark, a landscaped English-style park established in 1852, is the centerpiece.
Start just off Wilhelmstraße near the Tourist Information Center, across from the Schloßplatz. The first section is Warmer Dam Park, a small park with a fountain, various statues, large grassy areas, paths around a small lake, and the impressive State Theater & Hurhaus. Head north on paths through Kurkpark (Spa Park), which is beautifully landscaped and also features a lake & fountain. Paths continue north for nearly 3 km, through Kuranlagen, to just past a parking lot at the north end off Parkstraße. Loop back on paths for the return. For the last section, we loop around the impressive Bowling Green complex, with its two pools and a three-shell fountain in the middle, Kurhausplatz (large square), historic Kurhaus and Hotel Nassauer.
Add-Ons: Combine with our Wiesbaden ‘Runseeing’ Tour (there is some overlap).
