Takaido Park opened in 2021 as a new green space in the Suginami City area in western Tokyo. The park features lush & leafy paths, with ~2 km of paths that are pleasant for running.
Just north of the park, there are some paved paths along the narrow Kanda River. It’s best to head east, where it’s possible to add 2-3 km. Note that the paths intersperse between the north & south banks, and there aren’t seamless road crossing in spots — this area is still developing from a running perspective.
