Part of Millcreek Township on the east side of the Salt Lake Valley, Millcreek Canyon is a canyon in the Wasatch Mountains, about 10 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. Home to two restaurants and six Boy Scout Day Camps, Millcreek Canyon is a popular recreation area in both the summer and winter. With 15 different trails, Millcreek Canyon is a great place to run. These trails range from 4-14 miles, and offer lots of scenic views. Best to print our map or grab one a the park entrance.

As shown in the map, there are some longer trails with some serious elevation gain, and some shorter, gentler trails. The Mill Creek Ski Trail is among the more ‘run-able’ trails.

Note: Various seasonal closures, and might not be able to use for running in winter. This area gets tons of snow.
