Changfeng Park is a new recommendation to the Shanghai running scene. Located in the Putuo district and made more accessible a subway station (Line 15) that opened in 2021, the park features lovely paths around a landscaped garden, Silver Hoe Lake, and even some hill running options around the 23m Hill of Iron Arms. Ocean World Park, a popular visitor attraction, is also on site.  Note: As of 2024, there are ongoing renovation plans in the park.

For running, there are 3-4 km of paths. A loop around the perimeter & lake is about 2.5 km. Make sure to include Maple Island, with its red and green maple trees — especially nice in autumn! There’s also a running track.

Add-Ons: Suzhou Creek route passes by the park. Nice to combine!
