World Expo Park, Pudong

This is one of the better green areas in central Shanghai for running. Located in the Pudong area next to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, the park includes the Expo Stage, and visitors can walk and travel along the Huang Pu riverside. The park’s landscaping combines Western and Chinese gardening styles. Well known places in Expo Park include the cranes, the wetland and the lotus pond. Nearby the park are the Mercedes Benz Arena, China Art Museum, and the British Museum.

There are paths along the water, that include both Expo Park and Houtan Park. It is about 3.4  miles from north to south.
