For those who’d like to get in some pretty easy off-road miles, this is a nice run combining viewpoints, a wooded cycle path, and even a winery at the end! Choose as many km as you like.

The route starts at the the Chanteloup Pagoda, an 18th-century tiered monument overlooking the Loire Valley. There’s a small manicured park. Head west for 1 km to the All. de Dierre, a wooded bike path. Turn LEFT, heading south, for up to ~3 km. Here, you can bear left on Le Fourneau, a small road that opens up into vineyard type terrain, to the Domaine des Malidores vineyard. It’s nearly 6 km one-way from the Chanteloup to the vineyard. Choose any distance!  For the retrun, retrace your steps or choose from among the other numerous small, low-trafficked roads and paths in the area.
