West Island: Centennial Park & Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park

CC 3.0: Tybrad

In the west island part of Montreal, near the Trudeau Airport, there are some larger parks with nice paths for running. The showpiece is Centennial Park in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, which features paths around fields, through woods, a pond, and facilities. A loop is ~3 km.

About 2 km east Centennial Park, in Pierrefonds is Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park, which features scenic nature trails through woods. The park is also a popular sledding & XC skiing spot in winter. It’s ~3 km from one end of the park to the other.

One can combine Centennial Park & Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park for a ~15k run, using Salaberry Blvd. and the multi-use path east of it as a connector.

STAY: Airport hotels are a short cab ride from these two running options.
