Hattori Ryokuchi Park

Hattori Ryokuchi Park is a lovely spot for a run in the Toyonaka section of Osaka. The park features trails (mainly paved), several small ponds, athletic fields, and a running track. There are several km of paths. We’ve mapped a 6 km perimeter loop starting at the Ryokuchikoen Station, but one can easily do 7-8 km in here, not overlapping. At the eastern end, there’s a nice 50m climb up Inari Hill, for those who’d like to get in some elevation. Another highlight is the concentric circle paths around the Umezuka Burial Mound at the center of the park. There’s an excellent running track at Hattori Ryokuchi Athletic Field.
