Minoo Park: Mino Falls Trail & More

Osaka scenery doesn’t get any better than Mino Falls, the top sight of Minoo Park in the northern part of the city. There are multiple trails and opportunities for running here, but by far the most popular is the Takimichi walking trail. This paved path is an easy flat route starting from Mino Station and winding 2.7 km one way along the stream to the scenic waterfall with its bridges and rainbows. There are temples, statues and other sites. Trail runners can continue along the 4 km Katsuoji Temple Trail for additional distance. For the best views, come in autumn for peak foliage.

Access from downtown Osaka is easy — a 30 minute train ride from Umeda.
