One of the most striking pieces of architecture in New Delhi, the Lotus Temple is a popular tourist attraction as well as an active local place of Bahá’í Faith worship. The temple, located at Nehru Place in the Bahapur area (south Delhi), is surrounded by the sprawling Maanik Park and its well-kempt cement paths. As runners make their way around the more than 3.5 km of trails here, they can enjoy open lawns, shady tree cover, and great views of the temple. Keep in mind, people come here to pray, so please be extra respectful on your run.
