Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer & Ébihens Tidal Run

One of the more unique running experiences in Brittany is from Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer to the Ébihens Archipelago. The ~1 km connection between Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer and the island can only be done at low tide, so please consult the tide chart. The beach section can be an unpredictable mix of firm and soft sand and some rock, depending on the day and tide situation.

From the parking lot in Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, run south to the Pointe du Chevet. Continue on the tidal flats, connecting to the Archipel des Ébihens. Here, there are some lovely paths extending to a viewpoint at the end of the island, passing La Tour des Hébihens. Overall, a scenic and memorable run!

Note: there’s a popular running race around Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer to the Ébihens.
