Top Ten ‘Runseeing’ Tours in Europe

For those heading to Europe for vacation this summer, we’ve put together a list of the top ten ‘runseeing’ tours in Europe. These are runs going by the major sites in ten of Europe’s most visited cities. Our advice: go early, to beat the crowds!

Athens ‘RunSeeing’ Tour

Athens, Greece

A 'runseeing' tour of some of the most famous sites in Athens. National Gardens, Panathenaic Stadium, Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Filopappou Hill, First Athens Cemetery. Full tour is 6.3 miles, shorter option ~5 miles. Go early!

Barcelona Major Sites

Barcelona, Spain

A 6-mile “runseeing” tour of some of Barcelona’s architectural and cultural highlights. Sagrada Familia, Eixample area, Passeig de Gracia, Modern Art Museum, the university, Arc de Triomf, and the National Theater. Wide streets and pedestrian paths.

Prague Major Sites Tour

Prague, Czech Republic

A tour of some of Prague’s major sites and attractions, most of which are within two miles of Wenceslas Square. Just nearby is Old Town Square, the city’s historic center. The longer loop adds nearly 3 miles with a jaunt up to the famous Prague Castle.

An 11+ km 'runseeing' tour of the best of Warsaw. Starting from Old Town, takes in many of Warsaw's most important sites, through the Ujazdowski Castle and the Lazienki Park to end at the Palace in Wilanowa. Run one way and take tram back!
